Amateur to Advanced Photographers



Beginner Class
Take Creative Control of Your SLR Camera

This class is designed for a beginner with no knowledge of the manual controls of an SLR camera. The class is a hands-on, four hour course. A booklet is included in the course fee.

Requirements: DSLR camera, lens and manual

Intermediate Class

This course is designed for a more advanced photographer who understands the exposure triangle. This hands-on, four hour class includes a live-model shoot where you can refine aperture and shutter priority as well as working with fill flash. Image critiques are included with this course.

Requirements: DLSR camera,lens,tripod, manual

Advanced Flash Class

This class is designed for an advanced photographer who has a solid understanding of exposure and manual controls. In this course, we take the mystery out of the external flash unit. We shoot indoors using bounce flash, and outdoors using flash exposure compensation settings and learn how the difference between first curtain and second curtain sync. The class is three hours.

Requirements: DSLR, tripod, external flash (Nikon, Canon, Sigma, or Sunpak)and flash manual

Photoshop Elements Workshop

Photoshop Elements is the most popular and robust editing software for amateur photographers. Learn how to use this dynamic software to improve your photography. Four-hour hands-on course.

Requirements: Photoshop 9 or higher pre-installed in your laptop

Fee: $150

If you have a Groupon for a Photo Safari please click in the link below to view the 2012 class schedule. Classes will resume in March at Sims Lake Park and the SE Railway Museum. There are only three classes scheduled so make sure you select your first choice as soon as possible.
