Classes are held indoors with part of the class held outdoors. This class will be cancelled and rescheduled if it rains.

Class size is small with only 9 students per class

Cancellation policy: No refunds unless 24 hour notice is given.The instructor has the right to cancel a class if there is insufficient enrollment (less than 2 per class).

Course Description

Take your photography to another level with this mid-level workshop. We will work in groups to help you improve your portraits with emphasis on aperture priority, shutter priority, lighting and flash.



This program is the perfect follow-up to the beginner SLR class offered by Mary. Here is a schedule of the program:

6-6:30PM - review of aperture priority, shutter priority and flash.

6:30-8:30PM - shoot live models at the gorgeous Town Green. Models will range from child to adult. You will work in groups photographing action and portraits. Light will be perfect at this time.

8:30 - 9:30 PM - selection of your top six images. Snacks and soft drinks will be served.

8:30-10:00PM - critique each other images. Learn from others while you share your images.

The program will start at the Duluth Town Green. If you need an address to mapquest use:3160 Main Street, Suite 100 Duluth, Georgia 30096 The fountain, where we will be meeting is across the street.

Requirements:

1) Registrant must have previously attended the Beginner SLR class at Lightscapes Photography or have an understanding of aperture priority, shutter priority, ISO and flash.

2) Bring a tripod. This is very important. Also bring your camera, flash, lenses and a memory card.
