Why would a pro photographer share her secrets with the public with her online course?

I am not really sharing secrets. All the information I give you is factual and technical. It takes a lot more than knowing how to use a camera to run a successful photography business.

How are the lessons structured?

Well, each lesson really feeds into the next lesson. That is what is so special about my program. Once you learn and absorb the information from each lesson, the next lesson flows and eventually the entire program makes sense. I use the analogy of a wheel in my classes. Each lesson is a spoke in the wheel and each lesson makes the wheel stronger so it does not wobble. Eventually when all lessons are completed the wheel will turn.Photography is a blend of right brain and left brain techniques. We begin with the left brain techniques and when those are learned then the right brain creative part comes into play.

Will you really refund my money if I do not learn how to use my SLR camera?

YES, but you must show us that you have at least tried. A complete refund will be given as long as you email me the funsignments to prove that you have completed the classwork. You have 90 days from the purchase of the program to receive a full refund.

I still shoot film. Can I use this class?

First of all congrats for still using film. Many purists are out there who have not switched over to digital yet. Yes this class definitely relates to film, except for the white balance section.

Do you recommend SLR cameras?

Yes we do review cameras however you can use any SLR camera with this course.

Why can’t I use my point and shoot camera with this class?

You would be wasting your time and your money. Point and shoot cameras do not have the advanced features of an SLR Camera.

How do I know what an SLR camera is?

Well, hopefully you know what it is, otherwise you would not be at this site and have read this much so far. SLR stands for Single Lens Reflex. Typically, this is what an SLR has over a point and shoot:

1) Manual controls (as well as automatic)

2) You see what the lens sees

3) The ability to changes lenses.

Do I need to have a certain brand SLR to take this class?

No, all SLRs work the same; however they may have different names for their controls. That is why I ask that you keep your instruction manual handy.

What if I get lost and confused, how can you help?

I can take up to 3 email questions from you with the Basic Membership. Please give me 48-36 hours to respond to you. With my enhanced membership plans I can help you even more with live phone calls and critiquing your funsignments or your work. I even offer a full day class in person with me in Atlanta.

I have heard you mention funsignment. What exactly is that?

Each lesson is complete with a group of exercises which I prefer to call funsignments instead of assignments. This is the chance for you to learn hands on from the written information and keep records that you can refer to later.
