I Want to Share my Passion for Photography With You

Hi, I'm Mary Buck

Here I am on the left with my beautiful daughter Brittany.

I have had a passion for photography since I was 18 years old. My first SLR camera was an Olympus OM-1 (oops I just gave away my age!) I instantly became hooked on SLR photography and have always used the manual creative controls. I've never shot anything on automatic. My love of photography continued for a few decades and in 1995 I started my business “Lightscapes Photographic Artwork”. Since then I have photographed hundreds of families around the Metro-Atlanta area. My specialties are children and capturing their spontaneity.
Check out my photography website I've been around cameras for a long time. For years I used my husband’s film SLR, a Ricoh film camera,on manual. It did not have a built in meter so I used the sunny 16 rule and the majority of the time the pictures came out great. Once you learn how to use the manual controls I guarantee you will never go back to automatic settings.

I could not imagine a life without photography. It has been the “fire in my belly” for so many years now. If you love photography, I would love to work with you on a one on one basis in my on-line photography course.
