A mortar shell in Misrata, murdered at age 41 Chris Hondros, a war photographer who covered conflicts across the planet while photographing the revolution in Libya. Hondros’ entire body of work – like the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York, the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the Arab Spring at Egypt – centered on those directly affected by the violence and upheavel that surrounded them. A brand new documentary, ‘HONDROS, ”’ made by writer and childhood friend Greg Campbell, investigates touching images and the iconic, as well as the person behind the lens.
